The Agenda para la Incidencia Compartida (AIC) — Agenda for Shared Advocacy (ASA) — is a tool and a strategy sustained by a civic movement that promotes the transformation of cultural policies through participation.
It is more than a document: it conceives itself as a process based on a permanent dialogue between cultural organizations, an open exchange that aims to reach the greatest number of territories and realities in Peru. The Agenda aims to serve as a tool to build a horizon for civic intervention in cultural policies through a decentralized, horizontal and transparent model.
The methodology, designed and validated by civil society, is based in recognizing that there are multiple ongoing advocacy efforts and that we need to learn from these experiences, contributing to their development. The other important criteria is that the Agenda should grow constantly, through a strategy of “Pre/Encounters” (Pre/Encuentros).
