Since 2022, I have been part of a collaborative process to create an international network of researchers interested in the field of creative and artistic activism. The Artistic Activism Research CoLab comprises 11 researchers from several countries (See a complete list below).
Last year we held several meetings where the CoLab’s governance structure and general strategy were defined. We also organized a series of Zoom presentations for research associates to introduce their work to each other. Videos of those presentations will soon be shared broadly on our new website.
We have also constituted a Working Group to develop a global map of organizations engaged in artistic activism. More information to come!
