The Decentralized Program of Pre/Encuentros (PDP) was based on an open call for participation, resulting in 25 Pre/Encuentros developed in 15 regions of Peru.
The program involved the participation of 618 people and 371 cultural organizations.
Each Pre/Encuentro followed a specific methodology and generated Proceedings, which were used to elaborate a document structured in 12 chapters, using a system in which each idea can be traced to a particular Pre/Encuentro within a territory.
The Program was recognized by UNESCO in its Global Report “Re|Shaping Cultural Policies” (2018) as a good practice.
